Enough with the Stuff – My Favorite Foodie Gifts

After 24 years in a house for 5, I downsized to a small apartment for 2 and let me tell you, there is nothing more liberating than getting rid of STUFF and living with just the few things you use daily and love. That said, there are a few times a year we all give (and receive) gifts. Foodie gifts are a great way to spoil a family member or friend, introduce them to a new way to enjoy their favorites and avoid your gift being re-gifted.

First, the disclosure – this post contains affiliate links which means I will earn a commission if you make a purchase through one of the links. There is no additional cost to you and I only promote products/companies I truly love.

Everyone needs to eat and most everyone likes to try something new. My brother is still talking about the Snake River Farms package I sent him for his birthday (maybe he is dropping hints for Christmas!). Here are a few of my favorites (based on the responses from those lucky enough to have received them):

Foodie Gifts - Snake River Farms

Snake River Farms is a true carnivore’s dream! Sourced from the highest quality cattle from Northwest ranches, that are fed nutritionally balanced diets of forages, grains, and local renewable feeds like potatoes, Snake River Farms American Wagyu Beef exceeds the rating of Prime.

Who doesn’t agree that Lobster is the ultimate indulgent meal? Lobster Anywhere is the answer! They ship the freshest Maine lobster and seafood right to your door. In addition to lobster and seafood, Lobster Anywhere carries a full range of New England standards such as clam chowders, bisques, salt water taffy and more. Guaranteed to crack a smile.

California Wine Club Gift

The California Wine Club is the perfect gift for wine lovers. Wines are curated from small artisan vineyards offering something you just won’t get from the grocery store wine selection. The gift is completely customizable in the sense that you can choose whether the recipient will receive a shipment monthly, every other month or quarterly. You can also choose the category of wine you would like to gift.

Dylan's Candy Bar

What pairs great with wine? Chocolate, of course. Well, chocolate pairs well with everything as far as I am concerned. The Dylan’s Candy Bar Christmas gourmet gift box is the perfect gift for the holidays! Each Holiday gift box features a large assortment of hand Belgian-chocolate dipped Oreos, Hand Dipped Nutter-Butters, Chocolate-Dipped Almonds, Chocolate-Dipped Cashews, Chocolate-Covered Peppermint Bark and Chocolate Covered Pretzels.

Warm Belly Bakery Gift

If you are lucky enough to live near (or just visit) Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood then you are probably familiar with Warm Belly Bakery – known for its inventive cookies in flavors such as Blueberry Lemon with White Chocolate, Nutella Stuffed Brown Butter Cookie with Chocolate Chips and Pretzel Salt (get in my belly!!), Chocolate Cherry Pecan and Mexican Hot Chocolate. If you are not lucky enough to visit the store in person, you can have their famous cookies shipped to your favorite person (that’s me, right?). Right now they ship their cookies in tins, by the dozen or half dozen.

Katz Gluten Free Pastries

What if your gift recipient has food allergies, but you still want to send them something yummy? Katz Gluten Free has a wide selection of pastries and baked goods that are gluten free – and they cater to many other allergies as well. Need gluten free and dairy free? Yep, they have you covered! I first learned about Katz Gluten Free from my sister-in-law when her son was first diagnosed with celiac. We have sampled many of their items (I like the rugelach best) over the years and they are a great option for anyone who needs to avoid gluten and other common allergens.

Sun Basket Meal Delivery

Sun Basket is one of the many meal kit services that deliver fresh ingredients, recipes and instructions for making healthy meals. From the gifting perspective, I can think of SO many people on my list that would love this. Let’s start with my son. He is a young twenty-something living on his own. He loves good food and while he is not a great cook yet, he enjoys trying new recipes and learning how to cook. As an almost empty nester who works crazy hours, meal kit boxes are such a great way to simplify life and keep a good variety in my diet. Think of who else might enjoy this gift – an elderly neighbor? Your favorite newlywed couple? Or your best foodie friend. Use this link to get 50% off now.

Do you have any favorite foodie gifts that you think I should add to this list? If so, leave them in the comments below, I am always on the look out for something new and fun!
